Photographs from the Bob Lewis Memorial Meeting are now available, with the full album emailed out to everyone who attended on 30th August. It closes out coverage of the fourth edition of Momentum Sports' own meeting at the Weir Archer Athletics and Fitness Centre, an event that has grown steadily since its launch and once again brought a full programme of sprints, middle distance, throws and age-group racing to Kingston.

The photos capture a day that ran across the full age range, from the U10 and U12 75m and 600m races through to senior sprints and masters distance running. Sprint finishes were tight throughout the afternoon, with athletes from clubs across Surrey and the wider South East pictured driving for the line in close company. The distance programme also included a well-contested 3000m and a series of 800m middle-distance races that tested pacing across every age group.

Masters athletes are well represented, continuing a tradition that runs to the heart of what the meeting is about. Bob Lewis was a European Masters Games Champion over 400m, and the meeting held in his memory has always kept its masters competition central to the day rather than treating it as a side event. This year's edition was no different, with age-graded races across the masters categories drawing a strong field, and the meeting's own lemon drizzle cake prize once again going to the best age-graded masters performance over 400m.

Award presentations were a feature of the photos too, with the club's various prize-givings captured trackside, including moments between younger athletes and presenters marking out the day's medal winners. The PB board remained one of the most popular spots on site, with a steady stream of athletes picking up an "I Just Got A Personal Best" sign after crossing the line inside their own best time.

Between the four cash prizes for the day's best performances on World Athletics points, the age group t-shirt prizes across U14 to U20, the junior 75m and 600m medals, and the masters cake prize, the meeting continues to find ways to recognise a wide spread of performances rather than only the fastest times recorded on the day. The photo album reflects that breadth, with images spanning the full timetable from the youngest competitors in the morning session through to the senior and masters races that closed out the afternoon.

Momentum Sports' photo booth was in use again this year too, giving athletes and coaches a chance to mark the day away from the track itself, and those images sit alongside the competition photography in the album now being shared with attendees.

With the fourth Bob Lewis Memorial Meeting now wrapped up, planning is already turning toward next year's edition. The meeting has built a reputation over four years as a genuinely good open fixture rather than a purely small club-based event, drawing entries from clubs across the region each August, and the response to this year's meeting suggests that trend will continue.
