The age group t-shirt prize is Momentum Sports' way of recognising the best individual performances among junior athletes across the four categories that make up much of the Bob Lewis Memorial Meeting's entry list, separate from the World Athletics points prizes judged across the whole meeting. This year's winners came from four different clubs and four different events, each backed up by a season's worth of results that show why their performance on the day stood out.
The U14 prize went to Mya Keelaghan Clow-Wilson of Impact Athletic Club for her 800m, where she ran 2:17.47 for fourth place on 30th August. It sits close to her season's form over the distance: her personal best of 2:14.23 came at Watford in August, and she has run inside 2:20 consistently through 2026, including wins at the Surrey County Championships, and a BMC Regional Race victory in Winchester in July. At 13 years old and still in her first full season at U14 level, she has also shown range beyond the 800m, with personal bests over 100m, 1200m and 1500m and regular cross country appearances for Surrey.
The U16 prize went to Sydney Taylor of Hillingdon AC for her 300m, the same 40.45 run that also earned her the meeting's overall best performance award and its £100 cash prize, a mark well clear of her rivals in both her own age group and across the wider field. The U18 prize went to Heather King of Epsom & Ewell Harriers, who doubled up over 100m and 200m on the day, running a personal best of 12.85 for second in the 100m and 26.63 for sixth in the 200m. The 100m PB continues a strong sprint season that has also included a 200m best of 25.97 at Gillingham in August and a 400m clocking of 61.88 at the Surrey County Championships in May. King's season has ranged well beyond the flat sprints too, with a personal best of 75.27 over 400m hurdles, an event for which she is a member of our Sunday Hurdles training sessions.
The U20 prize went to Rhys Chadwick of Woking AC for his 400m, where he won in 50.50 on the day. It came a little outside his season's best of 49.39, set at Woking in May during a Southern Athletics League Division match, but the win at Kingston continues a consistent year over one lap that has also included a 48.8 victory at Bromley in July and a runner-up finish at the Rosenheim League Final at the end of July. Chadwick has combined the 400m with triple jump throughout the season, winning at Southern League level in Finsbury Park and Ewell as well as at Kingston.
Between them, the four winners cover a spread of events that make the Bob Lewis Memorial Meeting what it is: an 800m for the youngest age group, a 300m built for speed endurance, a sprint double over 100m and 200m, and a 400m at the boundary between sprinting and endurance. Athletes from Impact Athletic Club, Hillingdon AC, Epsom & Ewell Harriers and Woking AC all made the trip to Kingston Road, a reflection of the meeting's pull across Surrey and the wider South East four years into its existence.
The age group t-shirt prizes sit alongside the overall World Athletics points cash prizes as one of the ways the Bob Lewis Memorial Meeting recognises performances across the whole entry list rather than just the fastest times on the day, keeping junior competition central to what the meeting is built around each August.
