June is a busy month. Here is what is on the fixtures list and where athletes will be heading over the coming weeks.
6th June — Lily B League, Epsom
The Lily B League has been running since 1972 and is one of the most established girls athletics leagues in the country. Open to U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups, athletes compete in three individual events plus a relay across each fixture — good competition and a solid way to sample different events across a season. This is the second of four fixtures in 2026, with the league running across Surrey clubs.
6th–7th June — Welsh Age Group Championships, Deeside Stadium
Athletes representing Welsh clubs or counties head to Deeside for the Welsh Age Group Championships across the weekend.
6th–7th June — SEAA Senior/U20 Championships, Bedford
The South of England AA Senior and U20 Championships at Bedford International Athletic Stadium — one of the more competitive regional championships on the calendar and a stepping stone for athletes with national ambitions.
8th June — Blackheath and Bromley Open, Norman Park
Entries close 6th June.
9th June — Stratford Speed GP, Stratford
Entries close 9th June.

10th June — Roger Armstrong Open, Sutton
Entries close 7th June.
13th June — Schools County Championships
Venue dependent on county. For athletes who have achieved qualifying standards at their district championships, this is the next step in the schools athletics pathway — and for those who finish in the top places, a route to the ESAA Inter Counties South (Cunliffe Trophy) the following week.
13th June — London 5000m, Parliament Hill
Parliament Hill is one of the most iconic athletics venues in London, and the London 5000m is a well-run event that attracts a competitive field. Good conditions for distance runners looking for a strong summer time.
20th June — Lily B League, Guildford
Third fixture of the season.
20th–21st June — UKA Championships (British Champs), Birmingham
The Novuna UK Athletics Championships at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham — the biggest domestic athletics competition of the year. Athletes need to have achieved qualifying standards to compete and those who have been selected should watch out for our announcement.
21st June — Southern Athletics League, Kingston
The SAL is a team athletics league running four matches across the summer. Match 2 this season is at Kingston — our home track at the Weir Archer Athletics and Fitness Centre.

24th June — Quadkids Competition, Guildford
Quadkids is designed for younger athletes, typically U9 and U11, competing in four events — 50m, 600m, long jump and vortex howler. A fun introduction to competition.
27th–28th June — SEAA Age Group Championships, Chelmsford
The South of England AA U14, U16 and U18 Championships at Chelmsford — county-level athletes from across the region competing for South of England titles across junior age groups.
27th–28th June — Welsh Senior and U18 Championships, Cardiff
Athletes representing Welsh counties or clubs competing for national titles in Cardiff.
29th June — Blackheath and Bromley Open, Norman Park
Second open at Norman Park this month. Entry details on the fixtures list.
