What a day of athletics for Momentum Sports!
On the same weekend, our athletes were spread across two venues, making the most of a busy fixture list — and it was great to see so many of them out there competing.
The main event of the day for most of our squad was the Robin Chandler Memorial Match, hosted at the Sir Mo Farah Athletics Track at St Mary's University in Twickenham. It's a fantastic venue with a real atmosphere, and a great setting for a match of this kind. Seven of our senior athletes attended, which was brilliant to see.

Five of our Momentum Track Club athletes lined up in the 400m, and there were personal bests for Bella, Rebecca and Tayla — a superb return from the event and exactly the kind of performances we love to see at this stage of the season.
In the 100m, both of our athletes delivered — Arun (MTC) and Naomi (Yate) both ran PBs, making it five personal bests across the two events from the group at St Mary's. Well done to everyone who took part 👏
Meanwhile, on the same day, George and Ryan made the trip across to Lee Valley Athletics Centre in Edmonton for the BFTTA (@bftta) open. The Be Fit Today Track Academy open series is a well-run meet and a popular one for athletes looking to get some quality competitive reps in. George tackled two rounds of the 100m and a 150m, while Ryan also lined up in the 100m — a solid day of racing for both of them.

A busy and productive weekend all round — this is what the summer season is all about!
Well done all 👏
