Fantasy Olympic Games Competition with

We are pleased to announce a competition to whet your appetite for the forthcoming Olympic Games. It is a FREE Fantasy League competition based on the British Athletes who are going to perform on the biggest stage athletics can provide.

So, pit your wits against other athletics fans and pick your team with great prizes for the winners - and bragging rights for those who beat their mates!

You can pick before or after the trials, so you need to decide if the extra knowledge you'll gain from these (of injuries / selections etc) is worth the reduction from 300 to 250 units that you can spend.

To enter you just need to pick the British athletes you believe will gain the most points in their individual events according to their positions in their finals.

15 for Gold
10 for Silver
7 for Bronze
5 for 4th
4 for 5th
3 for 6th
2 for 7th
1 for 8th

For those in the finals only in Relays

5 for Gold
3 for Silver
2 for Bronze
1 for being in the Final

There will be some great prizes for the winners and you'll be able to keep track of the results online.

Rules

• Pick as many athletes as you like up to the value of 300 units with the aim of them scoring as many points as possible (scoring outlined above).
• After the UK Beijing Trials commence (11th July) the amount of units to purchase athletes will be cut to 250 because of the extra information available to entrants.
  At this point any other athletes who qualify for the Games will be added with prices.
• If an athlete is in more than 1 event they can get points for both.
• Entries to be received by the end of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
• One entry per person.
• In the event of a tie, the winners will be chosen at random.
• Prizes will only be available to those living in the United Kingdom.
• The judge’s decision is final.
• Winners will be notified by e-mail at the end of Olympics.
• The winner may choose a pair of Asics Running Shoes from the current range available
• The scores will be updated on a daily basis throughout the Games
• The competition is only open to UK Residents, as the prizes will only be posted to addresses in this country.
